A Group of Cambridgeshire Soldiers Enjoying a Smoke

A collection of soldiers outside their barracks, possibly going through their initial training as they are looking very relaxed. The reverse of the card bears their names but the writing is very faded and almost unreadable, but these are the names that I think are on it, from the bottom up. Pte Brown D.,Pte Chapman, W., Pte Wison J., Pte Storton, L/cpr Fennelow W. Cpr V...... Of those identified, D. Brown survived the conflict, but William Fennelow was killed, and is commemorated on the Gorefield war memorial.
